Phil Ivey

For my article today, I’d like to write about Phil Ivey, a poker pro that makes a handsome living off Full Tilt, one of today’s top Texas Holdem sites. Ivey is one of the most well known players in the world, and he is well respected amongst amateurs and professionals alike. He supports a Full Tilt Poker download because he is part of the Full Tilt team, and you’ve almost certainly seen his face in a few TV commercials over the last couple years.

An additional reason Ivey might suggest you to sit at tables in online casinos for USA players is so that he can have a chance to take your money at the tables. His screen name is (surprise, surprise) “Phil Ivey”, and he usually plays Hold Em and Omaha high stake cash games. It’s safe to say that he’s done very well on money poker sites. In the last 3 years, he’s made a total of around $15 million in profit.

Ivey has been incredibly successful playing live poker as well, another factor contributing to why he is so respected in the poker world. He has won more money in tournaments than anyone else to date, and he’s won an impressive 7 bracelets in the World Series of Poker. In total, he’s won over $12 million in live tournament  poker. When it comes to cash games, he can often be found playing in the Big Game. The Big Game is a $4,000/$8,000 mixed game hosted by the Bellagio, one of the most famous US poker rooms on the Strip.

It hasn’t been documented whether Ivey likes flash compatible casinos, but he’s definitely into extracurricular gambling in brick and mortar casinos. He’s rumored to have gambled away a whopping $2 million playing craps in just one night! If any player’s wallet can handle it, though, it’s Ivey’s. To me it’s absolutely absurd that anyone would allow himself to lose that much money at one time, but they always say that you can’t win what you don’t risk. You’ll find a bunch of casinos for US players, so download one today and practice your own craps game. Perhaps you can join Ivey at a craps table in Vegas in the near future!
